YES, this is LASSIE and Jon Provost and a California Senator.  Lassie, Jon and Bob Weatherwax (Lassie's owner) came to the California Capitol to support the anti-AB1634 legislation in June 2007.  Lassie was a big hit with all the polititians.  And AB1634 was tabled.  Effective 8-30-08, AB1634 IS DEAD!!
